The devil is always trying to rob you of your peace. He does this by telling you lies about your situations and about your future.
Jesus is the PRINCE of PEACE
John 16:33 (NIV) "I have told you these things, so that in ME you may have peace. In the world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world". This is Jesus speaking to us. He is PEACE.
Colossians 3:15 (NIV) Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.
The quickest way to lose your peace is to allow your mind to go to 'WHAT IF"
We are called to peace, we are not called to stress. One of my favourite scriptures (I have many, but this is one I have lived by for many years now.) are found in Matthew chapter 6: 25-27 Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes: Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your Heavenly Father feeds them Are you not much more valuable than they? Can anyone of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?
Decide today to let the PEACE of God rule your heart and your home. Every decision starts with a choice. We have the freedom to choose peace or stress.
