The devil fills us with fear.
the fear the devil throws at us is nothing more than false, evidence, appearing to be real.
Jesus is FAULTLESS and He sets us FREE Isaiah 43:1 Don't fear, for I have redeemed you;
I have called you by name; you are mine.
God actually commands us not to fear, or worry. The phrase fear not is used at least eighty tines in the Bible, most likely because He knows the enemy uses fear to decrease our hope and limit our victories.
We do however have to have ahealthy fear of the Lord. Deuteronomy 10:12-13 "And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you, but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in His ways and to love Him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, and to keep the commandments of the Lord and His statutes which I command you today for your good.
To fear God is simply to have an absolute reverence and awe of Almighty God, the Creator of all things.
