Safety

When we live our lives within the shadow of the God most High, our secret Hiding Place, we will always be shielded from harm! How then could evil prevail against us, or disease infect us? Psalm 91: 9-10 (passion translation)

I love this Psalm, I call it “my Safety”. Thank you Lord that you shield me from harm day and night, You Lord send Your angels to watch over me, You will rescue me from the traps the enemy throws at me. No matter what I’m facing, I can sleep peacefully for I know You are watching over me.

You have placed me under the Shadow of Your great Love. At times when my mind runs rampant with anxious thoughts, I will turn to the peacefulness of Your presence. There I can rest without fear, because You are my confidence.

whatever your present circumstances are today, give them to your Heavenly Father, and exchange your anxiety for His peace. Draw near to Him and He will draw near to you.
