My frustration about what is going on in the world has finally erupted. I feel compelled to put it in black and white. I do however say right here at the start that what I am putting in writing is my own opinion, not the opinion of my church, Daughters of the King Worldwide or my family.
Back in March 2020 when the Covid-19 pandemic started, I had a feeling that the lock down was just a rehearsal of what is to come. I am by no means saying that the virus is not real and that a lot of people haven’t died, which is always sad. What I am saying is that since the initial lockdown, our world has slid much further down the slippery slope of evil, and it is happening at a very rapid rate.
The Bible says in Matthew 5: 13-16 (this is Jesus speaking to the disciples) You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot. You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on it’s stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in Heaven.
To be light means to be a witness to others concerning the truth of God’s Word.
2nd Timothy 3: 1-5 But understand this, that in the last days there will come a times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self -control, brutal, not loving God, having the appearance of Godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people.
The above scriptures almost describe what is going on in the world today.
This rant of mine is not just about what is happening re the pandemic. My rant and my shame is that we, believers in Jesus Christ have sat silently while the evil has slowly invaded all of our society. And now we are in a situation where we have already lost the freedom to speak out against evil. If we do we get accused of using hate speech!!!!
Every year there is an estimated 40-50 million babies aborted worldwide. This is not ok, where is the salt and light. I have always been against abortion, but to my shame I haven’t spoken up, I was silent. I have repented and am now actively praying against this abomination. The truth is that God our Creator is the giver and taker of life. We the church should be a MEGA voice in the world to bring this to an end.
There is more than four million women and children trafficked every year. This is not ok. Where is the salt and the light!!! Nobody talks about it, it’s like it’s too horrible to admit that it is actually happening every day, every hour.
The family unit has been destroyed. God created male and female I don’t need to say any-more about that, but when the laws were being changed where was the salt and the light.
The world is full of corruption, in every sphere of society. Pornography is also rampant in every sphere of society. Sounds a lot like what the Bible talks about in the scripture I used at the beginning of this rant.
Now back to the beginning of my rant, the world situation today under the Pandemic. I can’t help but feel in my gut that there is a lot more at stake than just a virus. It is about power and control (my views). I have done a lot of listening to many view- points and weighed up the pros and cons, and there is an awful lot that doesn’t add up in my opinion.
We cannot go to church over a certain number, and if you are a small church, you are not allowed to sing!!! But you can go to a riot and scream your head off hmm. In my opinion, Church is an essential service.
In the United States Casinos and abortion clinics were allowed to be open, but God’s people cannot meet hmm.
Some so called experts say you must wear a mask while others say it is not necessary. Where is the TRUTH of what is really going on? I stopped believing the main media a long time ago, they only report what they want you to know. Most of it is fake news, news to put us into fear.
Shutting down the economy worldwide to stop a pandemic that has a 96% recovery rate seems very odd to me. Isolating people and closing the borders will lead to more depression, suicides etc. I am in the age group that is high risk of Covid-19, I will gladly go into isolation together with all others who are high risk, but why shut down the whole world economy. The ramification are to be.
The whole thing smacks of power, control and one world Government. There I’ve said it.
End of rant.
I pray that there will be a groundswell of believers that will arise and speak out against the evil that is taking over our world that God gave us to look after.
